Apple might have just revealed new iPhones to the world but it seems the US technology giant isn't stopping there. It's just been confirmed that the company will be holding another major launch event next week and rumours suggest brand new Macs could be on their way.

The showcase will be streamed online just before Halloween with Apple using this spooky time to generate some intrigue about its future products.

In fact, invites sent out to media are calling this event “Scary Fast” so it could be a spine-tingling hour of brisk announcements.

There's also an event webpage that's now live which gives a major hint that the upcoming reveal will be all about Apple's computers with an animation that switches between the firm's famous logo and the smiling Mac face.

Top of the agenda could be a speedy new iMac with this desktop PC expected to get a faster M2 processor tucked inside its shell. A brighter screen and rebooted design could also feature.

Along with that desktop machine, updates to the MacBooks - including the Pro devices - could also be revealed and it's not unusual for Apple to also release iPads around this time so watch this space if you're hoping to buy a new tablet.

A reboot to the iPad could make sense, especially with Apple recently releasing a new cheaper Pencil which makes owning a stylus more affordable.

Apple's event kicks off on Monday 30 in the USA - however, if you tune in from the UK you'll need to stay up until midnight.
