Beyoncé has shared more images with her platinum blonde hair after her mother spoke out to defend her new look.

The chart-topping singer faced accusations of having lightened her skin after she debuted her transformed hair at the premiere of her Renaissance Tour film earlier this week. The criticism led to her other, Tina Knowles, hitting out at "racist and self-hating critics" of the look.

However, Bey, 42, was clearly not bothered by her critics as she showcased a series of new images showing off the look on her instagram page on Wednesday. The superstar was joined by her rapper husband Jay-Z as they posed for fans in the pictures.

Beyoncé wore a white hoodie with the hood up and her platinum hair showing out the sides adding white joggers, large dark sunglasses, a cream oversized blazer and white pointed ankle boots to her look.

Jay-Z meanwhile wore a contrasting outfit dressed almost entirely in black with a black hat, black shirt, black joggers, and black overcoat teamed with a white t-shirt and white runners. Beyoncé added a cream teddy coat for some of the snaps as the pair showed off their prowess.

Bey's mum, Tina, 69, posted a furious video to her Instagram on Tuesday where she addressed comments that had suggested that Bey was "white now" and "she's not a black woman," after she attended the premiere of her film showing off the new look. Tina also wrote a lengthy caption on the video where she hit back at her daughter's critics.

She wrote: "I am sick and tired of people attacking her. Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self-hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white."

Tina then elaborated as she explained the look was to fit the silver theme of her Renaissance tour adding: "Where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she's trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin?"

"How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy. Duh, she wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement clown. ALIEN Superstar duh!"

She then went on to highlight that famous black women have been dying their hair since the days of legendary singer Etta James adding: "Lying and faking and acting like you're so ignorant that you don't understand That black women have worn platinum hair since the Etta James days. I just went and looked at all the beautiful talented black celebrities who have worn platinum hair and it has been just about everyone of them at one time or another. Are they all trying to be white?"

Tina then wrote: "Every time she does something that she works her a** off for and is a statement of her work ethic, talent and resilience. Here you sad little haters come out the woodwork." She then accused critics of Bey of "jealousy and racism, sexism, double standards," rather than "celebrating a sister or just ignoring if you don't like her."
