TV presenters Rylan Clark and Emma Willis will host This Morning next week.

Rylan, 35, was seen on screens alongside Cat Deeley hosting the popular ITV morning show earlier this month and has presented various segments over the years. Emma, 47, has also previously stood in as host of This Morning numerous times, including a spell with her Big Brother co-presenter in 2018.

The duo will host every day next week, including Friday, which is normally presented by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary. They are no strangers to working together with Emma having presented Big Brother and Rylan having won Celebrity Big Brother, but also going on to present spin-off show Big Brother's Bit On The Side.

In October, former This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby departed as the main host of the daytime programme after 14 years in the role. Her exit followed the departure of her long-time co-host Phillip Schofield in May.

Since the long-time presenting duo have both left, there has been a rotation of various presenters taking the helm including Hammond, O'Leary, Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle. The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes and Ben Shephard have also been presenting from the classic sofa.

Gibson and JLS star Marvin Humes, who has co-presented the show in past, are not on the roster currently as they are competing on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! It comes after This Morning fans were left furious after tuning into the daytime show to see the studio had undergone a Christmas makeover.

Taking to social media, some viewers voiced their concern over the show putting up Christmas trees and decorations as many felt it was far too early. One fan even told show bosses to "stop it!" However, host Rochelle Humes appeared in her element and unable to contain her excitement as she told show host Craig Doyle and viewers: "I just cannot contain my excitement. Hello and welcome to a verry festive This Morning." Grinning from ear to ear, she told Craig that she is the "happiest version of me".

"Can we do every Monday morning like this please. It's just unbelievable," she added. But according to the comments, may didn't share Rochelle's excitement. Taking to X, one person wrote: "dont know about putting up Christmas decs but ive the shopping done.. #ThisMorning." [sic]

Another person said: "Same old sh** every year. You build it up and build it up and build it up and then its the big day and.....Just stop it!" A third wrote: "#thismorning cant you see the irony "look at our studio full of christmas stuff" coming up people who cant cope with Christmas." [sic] Meanwhile a fourth said: "Christmas is pressure to comply. Not, a joy anymore. #ThisMorning." This year has been by far, the most turbulent for the ITV show, as it has endured the departure of two of its longest running hosts – Phillip Schofield and most recently Holly Willoughby.

Earlier this year Phillip released a statement following his sudden departure. It read: "I have always been proud to cover fascinating stories on This Morning. But recently, This Morning itself has become the story. Throughout my career in TV – including the very difficult last few days – I have always done my best to be honourable and kind. I understand that ITV has decided the current situation can’t go on, and I want to do what I can to protect the show that I love."

  • This Morning airs Monday to Friday at 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
