The best British and Irish horses race each other at Cheltenham Racecourse in one of the most prestigious National Hunt Meetings of the year.

The festival takes place in March at Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire. Hundreds of millions of pounds are bet over the four days of the festival with the Friday hosting of the Cheltenham Gold Cup the pinnacle. In 2023 the festival runs from Tuesday March 14 to Friday March 17.
