With less than four weeks until the start of December, many shoppers will have already picked up their traditional chocolate advent calendars, or perhaps gone for something a little more luxurious with a popular beauty offering. And now, our beloved canine companions can join in the yuletide fun, too.
Pooch and Mutt have unveiled their ski-themed festive treats for this year, which include a Christmas dinner for dogs, meaty treats, dental sticks and not one, but two advent calendars, with prices starting at £2.49.
And as Christmas creeps ever closer, the pet brand has slashed the price of their £39.99 Dental Sticks Advent Calendar to £20.99, saving shoppers £19 on the overall cost. But what’s more is that we’ve blagged a discount code that gets it even cheaper.
The dental stick advent calendar is said to be ‘the first of its kind’ to ever exist, containing 24 individually wrapped dental sticks in the brand’s four flavours: Limited Edition Cheese Fondue, Peanut Butter, Turkey & Hemp and Spirulina & Mint.
And while near-£40 may seem steep for an advent calendar for dogs - particularly when Boots is selling a beauty one for £44 - the sale sees it at almost half price. And when customers use the code CHEESE20 at the checkout, they’ll be able to get an additional £4.19 off, taking the total to £16.80. In order to ‘DIY’ one of the calendars, owners would need to buy four packs of dental sticks at a cost of £15.96, so the extra 84p is well worth it for the design, convenience and element of fun.
Alongside the Dental Sticks Advent Calendar, there are a number of other festive delights for dogs, including:
Shoppers have rushed to snap up the range, with one saying it was a ‘game changer’. Another added: “Ordered yesterday....arrived today! Brilliant! My boy is going to be so excited!!!", while a third commented: “Just ordered mine! We had your advent calendars last year and both dogs LOVED them! But cheese is their ultimate favourite - so excited to see how they react this year!” However, one shopper did say 'they stink' - but her 'dog goes mad for them'. The smellier the better, with treats, right?
Pooch and Mutt aren’t the only brand to launch a canine-friendly calendar this year though, with Lily’s Kitchen , Denzel’s and Pure Pet Food all offering a cute way to count down to Christmas with your dog, while Scrumbles has a £7 calendar that you can order from Amazon.
If you fancy trying out the Pooch and Mutt Christmas collection for your own dog this year, readers can get 20 per cent off across the range using the code CHEESE20 at the checkout. The offer will end on December 4 at 11pm, but we recommend ordering early so that it’s here in time to enjoy from December 1.
