If you're a total Fire TV Stick addict then now is a good time to head to Amazon's website and grab a very nifty upgrade. The online retail giant is currently selling its feature-packed Pro Remote for a very cheap price with this accessory offering Sky-style features for under £25 (usually £35).
Perhaps the biggest reason to add this gadget to your Fire TV Stick is its built-in alarm. That's an upgrade Sky users have enjoyed for a while with it belting out a loud noise should you lose it behind the sofa.
Sky Q users simply press the Q logo on their set-top box to set off the alarm but it's even easier for those with a Pro Remote. Just shout "Alexa, where's my remote?" and the noise will begin blaring out.

The next thing you won't find on a standard Fire remote is backlit keys which shine when the sun goes down. Once again, Sky users have had this feature ever since Sky Glass was announced and it's definitely useful if you like watching things in the dark.
The alarm and backlit keys aren't the only things you'll find on the Pro Remote with this device also featuring other extras such as customisable buttons which offer instant access to favourite apps and channels.
There's a dedicated Bluetooth headphone button which whisks you to the settings for easy connections.
Of course like all Fire TV remotes you get quick access to apps such as Netflix plus you can summon the Alexa assistant via a simple tap on the voice activation button.
If that all sounds enticing then the Alexa Voice Remote Pro is compatible with most Fire TV devices and other popular TVs, soundbars and A/V receivers, however, it is not compatible with all brands or models including the Fire TV Stick (1st generation).
