Couldn’t Spotlight have found a Political Office Holder, someone, no anyone, who is not being investigated for a death.

Get off of your Speed Dial BULLET and find Open and Transparent people to interview instead – of people who can answer only the way their Attorney will let them.

Willie Brown was in the assembly for 8 terms before he became speaker. But to call Mr.Rivas a South Bay legislator is a huge stretch. The vast majority of the massively gerrymandered district 30 is in the Pajaro and Salinas Valleys of Monterey County, but the city of Monterey is not in it. Perhaps that’s why I have never heard his name spoken nor have I seen it in print. His cheerleader Rebeca Armendariz is the Gilroy Councilmember who helped throw a booze-fueled Halloween party for underage drinkers which led to two shootings, one of which was fatal. San Jose has long been in the shadow of SF. Now SJ is in the shadow of Paicines, where Mr. Rivas was raised, and Hollister, where he lives now.
The CA Assembly membership is 58 democrats out of 80 seats and the Senate is 31 democrats out of 40 seats. Then there’s Gavin. Little wonder this state is so messed up

She needs to resign and I hope this new speaker doesn’t endorse her in any way. No shame to act as if she was not responsible for the murder at her home. As a adult and all the violence involving teens and alcohol she should of known better.
