Also, just because they are taking action in support of immigrant families, doesn’t mean they should become political prisoners..nor does it mean they’re full of hot air..big stretch Bill.

The headline should read, “Two Silicon Valley politicians out of hundreds of so-called leaders…”

But the real issue is, what can they really do?

It is a felony to forcibly impede a federal officer. Are these “leaders” prepared to be political prisoners in the US? Like Nelson Mandela, Biko, and many others around the world who sacrificed years of their lives to human rights and to oppose dictators?

The simple answer is, “No.” Not even these two politicians are willing to risk being imprisoned for what they say they believe in.

Bottom line: hot air from hot air politicians. The time to act was before the elections. Now is the time for everybody else to suffer because these politicians are frauds impersonating leaders and acting like they actually care.

“Most vulnerable residents”?? It’s quite amazing how they’ve redefined people who are here illegally. Is it a coincidence as well that a vast amount of supporters have similar last names?? I think not.

It would be nice to see our elected officials defending the rights of the homeless. We need them housed. Instead we’re spending time and money on illegal immigrants.

“She said it’s important to stand up against the federal administration’s harmful policies.”

It seems a risky position to ask the general public to intentionally impede federal law enforcement activities, both for the person calling for the action and those who would carry it out.

Count me out.
