Jamie Lynn Spears has quit I'm A Celebrity on "medical grounds" - but it isn't the first time the actor and singer has left a reality TV show.

Toxic hitmaker Britney Spears' sister sensationally exited the ITV jungle on Wednesday after a whirlwind week in Australia. She took part in only a handful of tasks and didn't seem to be enjoying the process alongside TV personality Sam Thompson, This Morning's Josie Gibson, First Dates' Fred Sirieix, YouTuber Nella Rose, former politician Nigel Farage, food critic Grace Dent, JLS star Marvin Humes, EastEnders legend Danielle Harold, Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard, boxer Tony Bellew and jockey Frankie Dettori.

Now she's no longer in the programme, has Jamie Lynn left any other TV shows?

It was earlier this year that Jamie Lynn took part in the US version of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, Special Forces: World's Toughest Test. The programme aired in January, but Jamie Lynn didn't last long, quitting the process after week three.

She admitted feeling like a "c**p mom", exiting the show after just three episodes because she missed her family in similar scenes to her time in the I'm A Celebrity jungle. Jamie Lynn is mum to daughters Maddie, 15 and five-year-old Ivey.

It was announced today that Jamie Lynn had left I'm A Celebrity. An ITV spokesperson explained: " Jamie Lynn Spears has left I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds. She's been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities." Her fellow campmates are now aware that she will not be returning to the camp. Having walked away from the show on Wednesday, the singer and actress becomes the second celebrity to quit this season.

Prior to Jamie's exit, she had raised concerns that she was ready to quit. During Tuesday night's episode, she became increasingly upset when Sam Thompson likened her to the boy who cried wolf. Speaking to Sam, Jamie said: "I hate it here so much, I hate it here so much, I hate it here so much. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it here. This place is where people go to have the worst days of their lives. Dear God, please help me to make it."

"I think I've got to leave, I think I've got to leave," she continued. Last night, viewers saw Jamie Lynn burst into tears over a piece of chocolate. The camp had failed to win their luxury items but did manage to get a bar of chocolate which they shared. Fred Sirieix served them all their allocated chocolate in his apron.

Her decision to quit the programme has thrown the ITV show into chaos as another campmate has threatened to quit on several occasions. Social media influencer Nella Rose was last night exempt from the Bushtucker Trial on medical grounds having been rushed to be seen by medical staff.

Nella, 26, previously said she wouldn't be the first contestant to leave the show which means as two have already quit, she would be the third. Fans have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter to share their views on Nella, with one writing: "Nella Rose will quit #I'mACeleb. I'm calling it." A second added: "No way Nella is doing that trial, she'll defo say I'm A Celeb and quit." Another typed: "Nella going to quit #ImACeleb." "Nella does not look impressed...I still think she's going to quit #ImaCeleb," tweeted a fourth.

Just days before Jamie Lynn's sensational exit, food critic Grace Dent walked from the camp and jetted back to the UK and admitted that she "just wanted to go home." Grace, 50, who had become a shadow of herself looked pale during Sunday's episode of the programme. But on Monday, ITV said: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds. She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike."
