Katie Price has not publicly acknowledged daughter Princess Andre's achievement of landing a magazine cover, after the famous teenager appeared to take a swipe at plastic surgery.
The 16-year-old graced the front page of OK! this week in her first ever solo photoshoot, marking a major milestone in her blossoming modelling career. She took to Instagram on Tuesday to post a snap of the glamorous cover, in which she can be seen rocking a baby pink dress, as well as several other photos inside the mag. Princess was quickly inundated with kind messages, many of which came directly from her friends and family.
"Beautiful sis," the TikTok personality's older brother Junior, 18, wrote, while father Pete sent a heart emoji in celebration of the special news. Meanwhile, step-mum Dr. Emily MacDonagh told Princess that she looked "beautiful" and aunt Sophie Price hailed her "Stunning as always Pringle." Pete also shared the cover on his own Instagram, writing: "Her first ever cover. So proud of you."
Even Katie's ex-husband Kieran reached out to express his congratulations, posting a series of clapping emojis beneath Princess's post. Her adoring followers also gushed their support, with one person writing: "Wow I have No Words Except Stunningly Beautiful." Princess's mother Katie, however, has yet to publicly comment on her daughter's incredible achievement. Despite regularly posting online, the 45-year-old appears to have decided against offering her congratulations in the comment section below the post.
The apparent snub comes just weeks after Princess hinted she wasn't a fan of Katie's extensive cosmetic surgery history. When asked by a fan on Instagram if she'd rather get work done or stay natural, the schoolgirl replied, "Stay natural." Her preference stands in stark contrast to Katie, who has altered her face and body countless times over the years. The Essex native underwent her 16th breast augmentation last year, after claiming she wanted to make her chest bigger than it's ever been.
Elsewhere in Princess's exciting OK! interview, she revealed that she'd consider doing I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here in the future. "It's kind of how I am here," she quipped, referring to her parents Katie Price and Peter Andre falling in love on the ITV reality show back in 2004. Princess, who recently failed some of her GCSE exams, also opened up about her struggles with self-esteem. "I've hard to work on my confidence but that's all part of growing up," she said.
Despite failing to comment on Princess's recent modelling milestone, Katie has previously voiced her faith in the teenager's future in front of the camera. “I can absolutely see Princess being a successful model – she’s stunning," she told OK! earlier this year. "I know when agents are taking advantage, so I would always step in if I felt something wasn’t right for her. I’m a protective mother and I make sure my cubs are looked after."
