Nella was ruled out of Tuesday night's Bushtucker Trial just minutes before it started - as she was rushed to see the show medics. Viewers had been voting for the Trial In Too Deep which was an underwater trial.
But as hosts Ant and Dec went into camp live on air, they revealed Nella was missing from the camp and would be exempt from the trial for medical reasons. It wasn't clear if Nella had been picked for the trial ahead of the news, while she was seen by a medic prior to the vote being announced.
Presenter Dec Donnelly said: "Now unfortunately, Nella is being seen by the medic so she'll be back later, but it means she's now exempt from this trial. So let's go in there and see who will be doing it."
But hitting back at the claims, a friend of Nella's called out the "unfair" and "untrue" speculation as they revealed why Nella was removed from camp. They told The Mirror: "The idea that she was faking or trying to get out of the trial is unfair and untrue. It was a minor medical emergency and it happened just before the show.
"They had to take her off to get looked at and couldn’t get her back in time for the trial reveal." In Tuesday night's episode Nella had showed no signs of illness earlier in the episode during Monday's highlights.

But just minutes before the end of the episode on Tuesday, Ant and Dec confirmed she would be exempt and was out of camp. ITV revealed she would be back though, with her since rejoining her co-stars. They confirmed on Wednesday: "Nella has since rejoined camp."
