Streaming shows and movies on your TV is getting more and more expensive. Both Disney+ and Netflix have hiked prices in recent months which means a quick boxset binge can end up costing a lot more than before. For example, when Disney+ first launched back in 2020 it had one simple £7.99 price plan that offered 4K streaming and access to content on as many devices as you wanted. Now things have changed with that same offering only available via the new £10.99 Premium plan - that's a £3 hike.

Luckily, there is now a cheaper way to get content beamed to the big screen in your living room with Paramount+ announcing the launch of a big Black Friday sale. The firm is currently offering full access to its library of shows and movies for just £3.49 per month - that's a 50% saving.

Once signed up, you'll get access to a swathe of extra things to watch including hundreds of movies such as Anchorman, A Beautiful Mind, Beverly Hills Cop, Cloverfield and Top Gun Maverick.

There's also exclusive TV series including Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown and The Thing About Pam.

The deal runs from today until November 27 so there's not long to take advantage of the huge discount.

It's also worth noting that the 50% off lasts for three months with things then rising back to the standard £6.99 price. If you don't want to pay that full cost you can cancel at any time.

Along with Paramount+, another streaming deal that's worth checking out is Sky's discount on its latest set-top box. Sky Stream usses your broadband to whizz shows and movies on your TV and right now it's just £19 per month. That's one of the lowest-ever prices for this device.

This box offers full access to live and on-demand shows plus you can use Sky's Playlist feature to store content to watch at a later date.
