It's the newest device from Google and just weeks after its flagship New York launch shoppers can already bag hundreds of pounds off the Pro device. Since UK retailers put an end to its freebie Pixel Buds deal there's now the chance to save big, but only if you chose to go with O2.

That's because it's made a sneaky price drop on its adjacent 30GB data deal, so anyone who picks up the new device with the hopes of saving on data costs will do exactly that. Although the airtime plan is reduced by £8 a month, combined with the total 24-month plan works out to a big £288 saving.

Pixel 8 Pro users will have to pay for the handset separately, as it breaks down into a different 36-month plan at £26.92, with an initial £30 upfront fee. Nonetheless, a handy saving considering it's less than a month old.

If 30GB of data sounds a little too small for your liking (maybe you have a TikTok habit or work on the go) then there are other options. The bigger 150GB and Unlimited Plus Airtime Plans are also included in the deal.

No matter which of the three plans you chose the only essential thing is to make sure you tick the deal deadline, which is November 15. Anyone who adds the Pixel 8 Pro plans after that date will be £288 out of pocket, similar to if you opted for Amazon or Currys to buy the set.

Money-talk aside and is this the right handset for you? Out of the two new Pixel 8 models the 8 Pro is seen as the one to go for if you're into photography. The phone packs in some pretty impressive spec considering it's not a professional camera rig - and this is mainly down to it's new and improved camera lenses.

The all new 'Video Boost' changes the game on the Pixel 8 Pro, balances out skin tone and adds vivid colour and detail to 4K videos. Which is only aided by its new Actua Display, making anything on the screen appear alot brighter.
