Didn't fancy splashing out £849 on a new Galaxy S23? Don't fret as there's a brand new version of this device which will cost a whole lot less. After months of rumours, Samsung has finally unleashed its new Galaxy S23 FE (Fan Edition) which gets some pretty mighty upgrades without it costing a fortune.

In fact, it's expected to be priced at just £599 when it arrives in the UK later this year - that's over £200 cheaper than the standard S23.

And don't think that lower cost means bargain basement features as the S23 FE gets plenty of goodies including a 6.4-inch AMOLED 120Hz screen, fast-charging battery and premium-looking design that's IP68 water resistant.

On the rear case, there's also a triple-lens snapper with a 50MP high-resolution lens. Samsung is boasting that this system will offer a 3X optical zoom along with taking perfect images at night without the need for a flash plus there's advanced digital image stabilisation for wobble-free photos.

It will of course do everything automatically but users will also be able to head into Pro Mode where they'll get access to functions such as manual shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and more.

It's going on sale in the US first in colours including Mint, Cream, Graphite, and Purple. It's thought that it will then arrive in the UK this December, just in time for the Christmas rush.

Along with that new phone, Samsung has also lifted the lid on Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ tablets.

These will start from under $450 and include impressive displays, 20-hour batter life and water-resistant designs.

There's even an S Pen in the box for doodling on the screen and the storage can be boosted to a whopping 1TB with a microSD card.

“At Samsung, we are committed to bringing world-class innovation to everyone through epic mobile experiences that fit their lifestyle,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics.

“Our new FE devices are packed with crowd-pleasing premium capabilities that, on their own or as part of a connected ecosystem, let Galaxy users maximize their creativity and productivity.”
