There's nothing worse than locking into a pricey at-home Wi-Fi, broadband, or mobile deal to realise you haven't secured the best possible price. As Sky re-launches its speedy 100mbps package there's an even better plan we'd suggest web users should try... and it's a lot cheaper.
The 100mpbs is back with wall to wifi guarantee and quick speeds, it'll take just one minute and 57 seconds to download an entire movie in full HD. Although a quick scan at Sky's broadband deals and the buzz surrounding the re-launch of the £38 a month 100mbps has put a huge money-saver under wraps.
Before Sky treated customers to the 100mbps option, the 145mbps was the cheapest option around but it often meant users who weren't quite fussed for speed had to fork out on the more expensive plan anyway. Now the Full Fibre 145mbps can be snapped up for less than the slower 100mbps package.
Yes exactly that, as the plan drops to less than £30 a month, £29.50 to be precise, which will leave customers paying £8.50 less and bagging much quicker speeds. Not to mention it's Sky Ultrafast, not Full Fibre, so it'd be a no-brainer for eager shoppers to pick up the speedier plan.
THe provider has dropped £8.50 a month off the price of this £18-month plan, saving users an incredible £153. And the deal even makes it cheaper than its newly launched 100Mbps broadband, even though it's much slower.
There are no hidden costs or price rises halfway through either as the deal lasts for the full 18-month contract, which just happens to be the minimum term users must stay for. This means there's no boosting back up to the usual £38 a month non-deal price halfway through as you can simply leave without a fee.
To add to this, there are no hidden installation costs as Sky cuts the set-up fee to £0, so regardless of which package you eventually choose forking out more pennies for it to be fitted in your home is not an option. If you fancy the quicker 145mbps deal then the existing Sky Stream, Netflix and Superfast Broadband package has been cut to just £13 for the first month before it rises back to the usual £39 price, nonetheless, it's still a £26 winner.
Also on the list for broadband deals, as we speak, is EE who has just launched three month for completely free on its full fibre 500 or Gigabit broadband. Virgin Media customers can also save some buck as the provider drops its starting prices to just £15 for the first six months.
