Google has unveiled its newest devices to the world at a packed event in New York. The Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and Pixel Watch 2 will arrive on store shelves on October 12, 2023 with a dizzying number of new features.

The curtain fell on the launch event a few hours ago, but eager shoppers can already save hundreds of pounds when they order.

For a limited time, Google will offer a Pixel Watch 2 smartwatch worth £349 for free when you preorder the Pixel 8 Pro. If you prefer the Pixel 8, Google is giving away a pair of wireless earbuds, Google Pixel Buds Pro, worth £199.

And UK retailers haven't slept on the deal as Amazon, Currys and Very become the first to offer the huge deal alongside the techies at Google. Shoppers have until next week to bag the savings before the handsets reach UK stores next week, starting October 12.

Pixel 8 Pro shoppers who pre-order the device can bag the newest Google smartwatch for free, which is packed with some eye-watering new features, including the latest health software from Fitbit.

It's not all that's on offer as there's a freebie for those who opt for the smaller, and cheaper, Pixel 8 handset too. At £699 the Pixel 8 is the smallest new device but those who pre-order the set can bag a free pair of Google Pixel Buds Pro - a saving of £199.

It may be a cheaper freebie but the changes to the Pixel Buds Pro are not to be muted. At the event, Google outlined its focus on better quality calling which is packed into its newest Bluetooth calling feature, which allows users to sound out any unwanted background noise. The buds will pause and turn on transparency mode as soon as you start talking to other people.
