A woman has revealed how she's never been able to maintain female relationships and never been to a wedding either - and believes it's because of her glamorous appearance.
Fifty-five-year-old Fran Sawyer was even told by her son's headteacher to "park down the road" as she was "upsetting the ladies" with her presence and would get scowled at during the school run. Although she believes it's just because other women are jealous of her and will judge her for her looks, she's never been able to hold down female pals. Despite having lots of confidence, she "just wants to be liked".
"Women just judge me, everyone judges me. They judge me because I’m glamorous, and when you're glamorous and attractive it's really hard as you just want to be liked and you never will be. If they were confident they wouldn't worry about it, but I make an effort with them because maybe I'm so confident that I try as they're a bit insecure. I try my hardest to make friends, but it just doesn't work out," the mum from Basingstoke told the Daily Star.
With age has come wisdom, and although it would bother and "hurt" her not having friends, she now isn't fazed by other people's opinions. Fran also claimed she is "beauty and brains" as she managed to raise £100,000 for charity by selling sexy snaps - which meant her patented design for stoma patients was launched in the UK and Australia.
"I think the internet has gotten easier but the women are jealous, I could wear no makeup and go in a pub and women don't like me... It used to really hurt me and something clicked in my brain and I thought 'I'm quite special I'm going to raise all that money and give them something to talk about'."
Fran explained that she's "grounded" yet a "bit of a gobs***e" and when it came to her sexy snaps, would have people asking her why she did it. "I had quite a few women saying 'Why are you doing sexy stories at 50, you should be ashamed of yourself. But I've worn the s*** badge for years and I'm quite proud of that. As my mum says, they wouldn't be able to do it and they're in their 40s, so why worry about them!"
"Maybe beauty is a curse. But I think it's a confidence thing, underneath I bet they're thinking 'I want to be like Fran' because I don't give a s***," she further explained. However it's not just pals she's struggled with, the mum also previously admitted she's been celibate for seven years too.
She found that the only men who were interested in her were 18 to 21 year-old's and has even had "hundreds of proposals" according to the Daily Star, although she claimed many of them "turned out to be seedy."
